Three clandestine fuel taps were found this weekend on the Mérida-Progreso highway.
According to the information obtained, the first huachicol intake was found at kilometer 27 and after the seizure, it was guarded by the National Guard in coordination with security elements from Petróleos Mexicanos.
Moments later, two more were discovered in the same area, a few meters from the first place.
According to the data, it was the same security agents at the site who detected the presence of the huachicol and notified the corresponding authorities.
Personnel from the Attorney General’s Office also arrived in the area to begin the corresponding investigations.
