Authorities dismantle narcotics warehouse in Santa Isabel, Kanasín

Approximately 120 kilograms of cannabis, 30 of crystal meth, and four kilos of cocaine were seized on Thursday, March 7th in Kanasín during an anti-drug operation.

In joint action to combat drug dealing, elements of the Army, Navy, National Guard, State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), and Public Security Secretariat (SSP), managed to secure a warehouse on 72nd by 77th Street in the Santa Isabel subdivision.

The location of that property was the result of police intelligence investigations by the Specialized Agency to Combat Drug Dealing of the FGE and the State Investigative Police (PEI) of the SSP, based on previous searches in which several people were arrested, involved in this type of crime.

When the search warrant was executed last night on said property in the Santa Isabel de Kanasín subdivision, in addition to the drugs, two scales and documentation allegedly related to the crime were also seized. The State authorities reiterate the call to citizens to report to the numbers 911 (emergencies) and 089 (anonymous report) any suspicious situation that could lead to crimes or risk to the community.
