Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz will receive in Mérida her certificate as the official candidate for the presidency of the Republic by the PRI political party, which will be delivered to her by Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas, national president of this party.

The ceremony will take place at a massive PRI event and will be accompanied by Renán Barrera Concha, candidate for governor.

As a distinction to Yucatán, the PRI decided that instead of holding the ceremony to present the certificate of its presidential candidate in Mexico City where the party’s national headquarters is located, as is customary, it was decided that the solemn act takes place in Mérida.

This event was called to take place at the GNP Forum on the Mérida-Progreso highway starting at 6:00 p.m., where the attendance of Renán Barrera Concha, who is also the PRI candidate for governor of the State, is also scheduled to attend.

Officially, it is expected that the candidate of the “Fuerza y Corazón por México” coalition (made up of the PAN, PRI, and PRD parties) will arrive in the afternoon to attend a private lunch in Xcanatún, and from there she will travel to the GNP Forum, to the massive PRI event.

The event is scheduled to begin with the report of the president of the National Commission of Internal Processes of the PRI, Pablo Guillermo Angulo Briceño, and then proceed to deliver the certificate to the candidate. Later Gaspar Quintal Parra, state president of the PRI, will speak.

Finally, Renán Barrera Concha will intervene with a message to the PRI members, and last but not least, Xóchitl Gálvez will deliver her message to the PRI militancy of the country and the national leader of this party.
