Due to growth, the establishment of new companies , and the arrival of investments in the region, UADY students have now focused on developing cutting-edge technological projects related to the field of computing, such as software and artificial intelligence (AI).
Jessica Alejandra Canto Maldonado, the coordinator of projects linked to innovation at the Autonomous University of Yucatán (UADY), highlighted that, due to current technological growth in the region, young people are now more interested in high-tech development, in many different fields such as medicine and biomedical areas. just to name a couple.
The UADY academic pointed out that students are already turning to these sectors. They understand that pairing with the researcher is important because between the two they can make very interesting developments and thus they can link with a company.
Canto Maldonado indicated that what the coordination in her charge seeks is to find areas of opportunity so that the university can offer companies its research and services and of course position its graduates as valuable assets within corporations.
