A fugitive from justice in the state of San Luis Potosí, accused of the crime of femicide, was hiding in Conkal, Yucatán, and was located and detained by local authorities, in collaboration with their counterparts from that state.
Juan de Dios MB, 52 years old, originally from the capital of San Luis Potosí, is facing criminal proceedings for his probable participation as the perpetrator in the femicide of someone who was called Martha GT in life.
The events occurred in October 2022. The subject had managed to evade the authorities until today when agents from the State Investigative Police (PEI) of the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) carried out the arrest warrant.
The individual was handed over to police and prosecutors of San Luis Potosí to be placed at the disposal of the judge who ordered his capture.
