Mexico City International Airport (AICM) cancels flights due to Popocatépetl activity.

The Mexico City International Airport reported that some airlines canceled flights due to the intense activity of Popocatépetl, which this Tuesday recorded explosions, fumaroles and ash.

“If you have a flight scheduled for today, we recommend that you stay informed with your airline to know its status,” he published in X.

The alert remains in Yellow Phase 2 and ash fall is expected in municipalities near the volcano.
