Cyclist killed in traffic accident on the Mérida-Cancún

On Wednesday, January 31st, a cyclist died early in the morning after being hit by a vehicle on the Mérida Cancún highway, near the San Pedro Noh Pat bridge.

According to the report, the driver of a Volswagen Crossfox SUV was traveling on the road when the cyclist crossed an intersection and was thrown several meters, ending up lying on the pavement.

Agents of the National Guard, as well as the Kanasín Municipal Police and the Forensic Medical Service, arrived at the site.

So far, the identity of the victim has not been revealed by the authorities.
