Cancun ‘call center’ operated as a drug dealing network

During the search of the property located in Cancun’s region 44, 23 people were arrested.

In a joint operation, agents of the Investigative Police, in collaboration with State Police officers, carried out a search at a home in superblock 44 in Cancún, which was supposed to be a ‘call center’ where tourist services were offered. , resulting in the arrest of 23 people.

The home was under investigation for its alleged use as a retail drug sales point.

The search revealed that the ground floor of the property, which appeared to be a call center for tourist services, was actually a screen for carrying out drug dealing activities.

Illegal substances such as marijuana and methamphetamine were seized, as well as 18 cell phones of various brands, 51 bank cards from different institutions, a laptop, an iPad, a tablet and seven motorcycles.

Those detained in custody were placed at the disposal of the Control Judge who will determine their legal situation.
