Amber Alert Yucatán: Young mother and child missing in Mérida

Emma Dánae Pacheco Nahuat along with the daughter Joely Monserrath were reported missing more than 48 hours ago in the city of Mérida, Yucatán.

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) activated the Amber Alert in Yucatán in responsse to the disappearance of a 17-year-old girl with her 3-year-old daughter in the city of Mérida.

In both search bulletins, it is mentioned that the mother identified as Emma Dánae Pacheco Nahuat along with the girl Joely Monserrath Pacheco Nahuat have been missing since last Wednesday, January 31.

Both were last seen in the Bosques del Poniente subdivision in the city of Mérida, and their relatives have no knowledge of their whereabouts to date.


It is unknown how they were dressed at the time of their disappearance, but as particular signs, Emma Dánae has dark brown straight hair, long below the shoulders. She has brown eyes, is 1.60 meters tall, wears braces, and has a mole on her nose on the right side.

In the case of little Joely Monserrath, there is no information about how she was dressed, and her details are not known.

After the activation of the Amber Alert in Yucatán, the State Attorney General’s Office will be in charge of finding the whereabouts of both minors, as most likely, they may be victims of the commission of a crime.
