Xóchitl Gálvez accepts an invitation from Seeking Mothers: “I am with you all the way”

Xóchitl Gálvez, the candidate for the Fuerza y Corazón por México coalition, accepted the challenge of Ceci Flores, representative of the Madres Buscadoras de Sonora collective, to accompany them on a journey in search of their children.

In a video published on social networks, Gálvez Ruiz pointed out that with her, searching mothers will always be heard, made visible, and cared for.

“I do hear them, I do see them, I am going to be with you,” he assured. On several occasions, activist mothers have asked President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for an audience, but he has refused to receive them.

Many analysts state that the reason why Obrador refuses to meet with the Seeking Mothers is because that would get him in trouble with his superiors within the cartels (cause Lopez allegedly has a deal not with one, but with both of the major cartels in Mexico, the Sinaloa Cartel, and the CJNG).

The candidate indicated that the missing person’s crisis cannot be resolved by manipulating data or hiding the truth, since what is required is empathy for the relatives of the victims of disappearance.

“You have had to suffer the worst of penalties and it is not a matter of politics or an electoral campaign,” he stated. Likewise, he said that, when said video was published, he would have already been in contact with Ceci Flores to take said tour “You will see a Mexico that hurts”, Ceci Flores invites pre-candidates for the Presidency to take a tour. The above was in response to the requests made by the searching mother on social networks, who asked the government not to hide the numbers of missing people.

In addition, he invited the presidential candidates, Claudia Sheinbaum and Xóchitl Gálvez, to search with them, “they will see a Mexico that hurts but it is necessary to feel it.” Likewise, he once again asked the cartels to have mercy and not attack them, “we are not enemies,” he stated.
