While in Merida, Xóchitl “takes note” of successful public policies in Yucatán

The candidate for the presidency of Mexico for the Fuerza y Corazón Por México alliance, Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz, warned about the need to carry out exhaustive tests on the Mayan Train to ensure its correct functioning.

After the fifth government report of Mauricio Vila Dosal, the Hidalguense politician expressed her concern about the failures presented by the Mayan Train, which resulted in the interruption of service and the suspension of ticket sales. He highlighted the importance of thoroughly reviewing its operation, indicating that the rush to inaugurate it could have affected the proper performance of tests.

«It had a failure, it stopped and they stopped selling tickets. The inauguration was accelerated. Engineers must be given time to test and fine-tune the systems. Surely, after this time of testing that is often omitted during inaugurations, its operation will be guaranteed,” Galvez stated.

The licensed legislator also regretted that, due to the rush, not enough tests had been carried out and stressed the importance of allowing engineers to make the necessary adjustments.

On the other hand, Gálvez mentioned that he took note of various public policies implemented by Vila Dosal in Yucatán, which she is considering including in the government plan that she is developing for the campaign stage.

«Social support and education strategy are key aspects to lift people out of poverty. “I have quite a few coincidences with the governor,” she stated.

The presidential candidate assured me that she would continue touring the country, listening to people, and collecting ideas to establish significant proposals in her government program.
