On Monday, January 29th, Xóchitl Gálvez inaugurated his “Truth Conferences” where she replicated one of the dynamics of López Obrador’s “Mañaneras”.
Gálvez stated that, according to a Spin investigation, López Obrador has made “130,000 false, misleading or unverifiable claims.”
In his “fact of the day,” she again addressed the issue of homicides in Mexico during the 4T six-year term. The figure she gave, without specifying its source, shows that it is 170 thousand.
Likewise, Gálvez took advantage of the question and answer round to go against Obrador, inviting him to leave the National Palace because she claimed that he did not really know Mexicans, what they want, or what they need; according to Galvez, Obrador is only interested in the sake of this political party and the continuity or his regime through Claudia Sheinbaum.
“Mexico is not the National Palace, Mexico is a country that is suffering” Xóchitl concluded 38 minutes into the conference, and she ended up saying that her Morning Conferences will deal with the truth about what is happening in our troubled country.
