AMLO’s morning conference this Wednesday, January 3, was held from Mérida. López Obrador highlighted the economic development and public security of Yucatán.
The head of the federal Executive reiterated the good coordination that exists with the State Government, headed by Mauricio Vila Dosal, who was present at the conference.
López Obrador highlighted the infrastructure works carried out and underway during the current federal administration, as well as the reduction of poverty and inequality, which, he stated, is due to the improvement in living conditions with the increase in the population’s income. and the generation of jobs, derived from public investment.
In his speech, Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal highlighted that in 2023 the state ranked first in the peace index and with the lowest crime incidence, as well as in the performance and confidence index in the State Police.
He highlighted the works carried out and in development in Yucatán with the support of the Federal Government, among them the two sections of the Mayan Train, the Great La Plancha Park, the rescue of the Ticul Hospital, the new O’Horán Hospital as well as the Naval and the expansion of the Port of Altura, in Progreso.
