A citizen spread on social networks the video of the robbery of a business located in the north of Mérida, Yucatán, which was committed by an alleged thief on the morning of Wednesday, January 3, in a neighborhood located in front of Plaza Altabrisa.
The alleged crime was reported on Facebook by the user who identifies herself on that network as Soraya Ivette Baduy Rodríguez;, the owner of the dessert business that opened on December 27, that is, just a week ago.
Through a message accompanied by photographs and video, the victim asked for help to find the whereabouts of the assailant who entered a store located on streets 9 and 24A in the Maya neighborhood, in Mérida.
According to the video shown by the complainant of the business robbery in the north of Mérida, the events occurred this morning of this Wednesday, January 3, where the alleged thief can be seen breaking into the place.
In the images broadcast on his profile and in neighborhood groups in said neighborhood, it can be seen that the video is dated January 3, 2024, and marks 6:40 a.m.
Although no further details are given, in the video of the business robbery in the north of Mérida that the complainant showed, you can see a man calmly entering through the main door.
Subsequently, the thief goes to a reception, which he accesses by easily removing another small door, and once inside he begins to rummage through the belongings to steal them.
The message on Facebook aroused the annoyance of neighbors with comments expressing their solidarity with the victim of the robbery, who expressed his fear and uncertainty.
Based on this message, other Internet users said that they were also victims of robberies in the area. The victim points out that he has already reported the incident to the authorities, so elements of the police are already working on his case to stop the thief who showed up when he entered a business in the north of Mérida.
