Man seriously injured after a car accident on the Valladolid-Ticuch

The driver of the car lost control of the steering wheel and ended up overturning on the ValladolidTicuch section

A seriously injured person and extensive damage were the result of the rollover of a compact vehicle on the Mérida-Cancún freeway federal highway, Valladolid-Ticuch section.

According to the report, a white Chevrolet Aveo Coupe, driven by a person identified with the initials M.C.R. from Veracruz, Mexico, who was traveling from Valladolid to Ticuch and at one point lost control of the car and ended up overturned.

The accident occurred at kilometer 165 of the aforementioned federal highway. In a matter of minutes, agents of the Municipal Police of Valladolid arrived at the scene and immediately guarded the site to avoid further accidents.

A short time later, staff from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) arrived at the scene of the accident and immediately became aware of the incident to clarify responsibilities.

Paramedics from the same corporation assessed and treated the driver. Subsequently, he was rushed to the General Hospital of this city. The driver was practically rescued from under the car among the twisted iron bars and was complaining of severe pain.
