MÉRIDA, Yuc., December 13, 2023.- A big shock was caused by the fall of a tree on top of a Yucatan State Police patrol car that was parked on Itzaes Avenue, leaving serious damage to the corporation unit.
According to images circulating on Facebook and captured by user Frank Cortez, the unit ended up completely under the tree in a section of the aforementioned avenue in one of its lanes that runs from south to north.
According to the information from local news outlets, the accident occurred one block away from the O’Horán Hospital.
Despite the dramatic nature of the incident, no injuries were reported, only heavy material damage, and a severe vehicular impact due to the Itzaes lane being closed while firefighters worked to remove the tree and the vehicle.
