Teenager dies in Oxkutzcab after falling from a second-floor

A 17-year-old boy lost his life after taking a wrong step and falling from the second floor of a construction site in Oxkutzcab, Yucatan.

On Wednesday, December 20th, a tragedy shook the municipality of Oxkutzcab when the death of a 17-year-old boy was reported after falling from the second floor of a construction site.

The young man met his death while he was drinking alcoholic beverages on the construction site, so when he took a wrong step he fell into the void and hit his head, which caused him to die instantly.

The events occurred in the Santoyo neighborhood of Oxkutzkab, and for a moment it was believed that it was the body of Luis Góngora, a young man who had been reported missing since Saturday, December 16th, but it was later confirmed that it was a different person.

Agents of the municipal police and the FGE Yucatán, as well as the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO), arrived at the scene to remove the body and perform the legal autopsy.
