Quintana Roo Governor Mara Lezama visits the Vatican (Watch Video)

On a visit to the Vatican, Mara Lezama, governor of Quintana Roo, delivered a mini replica of the Mayan Train to Pope Francis

Mara Lezama posted on her social networks a video of her visit to the Vatican and Pope Francis’ blessing of the Mayan Train, soon to be inaugurated.

The governor of Quintana Roo, María Elena Hermelinda Lezama Espinosa, known as Mara Lezama, went to the Vatican to visit Pope Francis.

His visit took place within the framework of the Mexican gastronomic exhibitions at the Holy See , and he took the opportunity to ask Pope Francis to bless a representation of the Mayan Train.

This is in view of the upcoming inauguration of the mega work of the Fourth Transformation , next Friday, December 15, in the southeast of Mexico.

Through her social networks, Mara Lezama shared a video showing her visit to the Vatican and her meeting with Pope Francis.

Likewise, the governor of Quintana Roo asks the Supreme Pontiff to express his affection to the Mexicans, who “love him.”

Mara Lezama took advantage of her trip to bring Pope Francis a letter from the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) and his wife, Beatriz Gutiérrez.

Likewise, he brought him a path for the altar of the Virgin of Guadalupe, a gift that the indigenous Mayans embroidered for the Vatican.

Finally, Mara Lezama surprised Pope Francis with two copies of the Mayan Train , which she called, “social justice train,” and asked for his blessing two days after it was inaugurated.
