Because compliance brings benefits, the Progreso City Council, chaired by Mayor Julián Zacarías Curi, will raffle among citizens who make their property tax payment on time, a 2024 car, as reported by the director of Finance and Treasury, C.P. Jorge Abraham Duarte Mancilla.
And, as is known, this raffle is one of the dynamics promoted by the Progreso City Council to encourage the timely payment of the property tax, to attract resources that allow it to continue improving the services and public spaces of the municipal seat and the police stations.
In this context, Duarte Mancilla explained that by 2024, and by order of the mayor, the municipal agency will make the following discounts so that the payment of said tax is more accessible and benefits all citizens.
A 20 percent discount will be given in January; in February 15 percent and in March 10 percent. And for retirees and pensioners, a 50% discount will be applied in January and February.
The official highlighted that when citizens make their payment, they will be given a ticket to participate in the raffle, which is scheduled for Monday, June 17, 2024.
For first place a 2024 car will be delivered; for the second, a trip for two people to the Riviera Maya and for the third place, a 40-inch television.
For all of the above, Duarte Mancilla cordially invites all citizens to make their timely payment at the Predial office, from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from the morning to 1 in the afternoon.
