AMLO confirms that the National Guard will leave Sedena and move to SSP
President López Obrador confirmed during the morning conference on December 18 that the National Guard will return to the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection.
The SCJN resolved that the National Guard return to the command of the SSP once the term under the yoke of the Secretariat of National Defense expires.
For his part, the president reiterated that during his last year in office, he will seek to leave the GN with Sedena.
