Mérida City Council launches the new Business Directory

The City Council of Mérida, to promote the economic development of local companies in the city and its 47 , has launched the “Business Directory” project.

The Mayor, Alejandro Ruz Castro, said that these projects not only generate jobs, but also contribute to improving the quality of life of families by promoting local development and having a positive impact on the economy.

In support of business economic reactivation, the Directorate of Economic Development and Tourism of the City Council of Mérida presents the “Business Directory”

This project serves as a commercial bridge between buyers and sellers, highlighting that the responsibility for the products and services lies with the supplier, and the acceptance of the purchase or contract is the responsibility of the client.

To date, the program has the participation of 76 registered companies, benefiting from the possibility of increasing productivity, obtaining visibility of potential clients, free dissemination, in-person and digital reach, as well as promoting competitiveness and positioning on the internet.

“This page allows us to support local businesses that, with effort and perseverance, work every day to grow and open job opportunities,” said Mayor Ruz Castro.

People interested in contracting services in the commerce, technology and tourism sectors can access the page https://merida.gob.mx/directorioempresarial/index.phpx. There, using the search engine, you can find complete information about the companies and contact them.

The requirements to be part of the “Business Directory” vary depending on the type of entity. In the case of natural persons, it is required to complete an application form (downloadable on the page), present proof of registration with the current SAT, proof of residence, current property tax, municipal operating license, official identification and photos of the facade. For legal entities, in addition to these requirements, the articles of incorporation and the notarized power of attorney must be provided.
