Four men, accused of kidnapping in Cancun, were sentenced to 70 years in prison, a historic sentence in Quintana Roo.

Octavio “N, Ricardo “N”, Carlos Iván “N” and Kevin Hazael “N, deprived a person of his freedom on September 7, 2019, when they arrived aboard a vehicle at the victim’s home, located in Superblock 259, wearing balaclavas and firearms.

At the scene they identified themselves as Ministerial Police, taking him out of his house to transfer him to the car. They threatened to take his life if he did not pay a sum of money, this while they were driving along 20 de Noviembre Avenue, near Superblock 212, in Cancun.

Derived from a complaint and with the data presented to a Judge, it was possible to establish the participation of the accused in the events, which is why he requested and obtained the arrest warrant against them, which was completed by the Investigative Police.

After their arrest, Octavio “N, Ricardo “N”, Carlos Iván “N”, and Kevin Hazael “N” were placed at the disposal of the jurisdictional body that requested them; After the corresponding process, the Judge sentenced them to 70 years in prison.
