An extensive operation by security forces occurred in Colonia Juan Pablo II, in Mérida, where a dead body in an advanced state of decay was found on Tuesday, December 12th.
The authorities secured a perimeter around 5-L Street between 30 and 32, in the aforementioned neighborhood since the reason for the death is unknown, although it is said that it occurred “under strange circumstances.”
It was found out that neighbors reported the macabre discovery, as a person smelled a foul smell and when he looked into the house he found the lifeless body, so he immediately calle 911.
The same neighbors indicated that drugs are sold there and in recent days they saw black and white vans arrive and leave on several occasions.
For this reason, the authorities are investigating whether this illegal activity is related to the death of this person.
