In the early hours of Thursday, December 28, a new felony was perpetrated by thieves in Chicxulub Puerto. The victim on this occasion is the owner of a wastewater cleaning company, from whom a suction pump for a biodigester worth 12,000 pesos was stolen.

The incident was discovered yesterday morning by the affected person and his workers, who arrived at the truck located at the owner’s house, on 25-A Street between 54 and 56 in Chicxulub Puerto, where they realized the absence of the pump.

After reviewing the security cameras, they realized that an unknown subject, a young man with a thin build, was the one who stole the item.

According to what they indicated, according to the recording, from 3 in the morning, he was seen hanging around the area and then, around 5:10, he approached the truck and ran towards a corner with the stolen item, where another man was waiting for him and both ran away. Although there have been other recent robberies in that coastal town, this fact took victim and neighbors by surprise, as they consider that the place where they live has always been a quiet area and this type of situation had never occurred.
