Bikers commemorate National Motorcycle Day with a caravan in Mérida

Hundreds of Yucatecan motorcyclists were present among steel horses in commemoration of National Motorcycle Day. After a few words of welcome, President Fredy Cetina Amayaa stressed road caution to avoid accidents, since this year it increased by 66 percent in Yucatan.

-At the National level it is celebrated on the 1st, but Nationally on the first Sunday of December, this as a way to raise awareness about the road problem that all motorcyclists have in search of better roads to reduce the number of accidents in the state, he noted.

Afterward, they placed a wreath at the Monument and observed a minute of silence for colleagues who lost their lives in a road accident.

Likewise, the authorities present gave the starting signal for the Caravan that will reach the Teya Garden, in which all types of motorcycles participated, as a way of inclusion, women with disabilities also participated on adapted motorcycles.

At the celebration site, 32 helmets will be delivered, as part of the precaution and correct equipment that a motorcyclist must have, in which Cetina Amaya called on food delivery companies to provide them with the necessary tools for their work.
