A cat is rescued from a well in Tizimín, Yucatán

Firefighters from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) rescued a cat that fell into a well on Thursday, December 28. According to Yajaira D.P., 33 years old, since last Sunday the 24th the cat had fallen into the hole, approximately 17 meters deep. However, on Thursday December 28 they heard the kitten crying again, so they asked for help from the emergency services.

SSP firefighters went to the site, carried out the corresponding maneuvers, and after several minutes managed to remove the cat from the well. The small feline was released because it has no owners. Municipal police also arrived at the scene, who became aware of the events for their corresponding report.
