During the month of December, Yucatan school students take vacations to celebrate Christmas and New Year with their families, and it is also one of the most important times of the year religiously speaking for Mexican families which are mostly Catholic or Christian.
The Christmas holidays have different ways to enjoy them, it is a factor that benefits the comprehensive development of students, as it is one of the most anticipated dates for students.
Christmas is just around the corner, so doubts are beginning to arise regarding when the vacation period begin; as this holiday season will last 15 days.
According to the calendar of the Secretary of Public Education (SEP), preschool, elementary, and secondary school students in all public schools in the state of Yucatán will begin their vacation period on December 18, 2023; and will return to the classrooms on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
