Cancun is home to one of the fastest-growing airports in the Caribbean, and the Mexican Caribbean hotspot is getting even more flights this winter.
United Airlines is ramping up its service to Cancun, with plans to offer more than 200 flights each week to Cancun from a total of eight different cities in the United States.
That includes daily flights from Cleveland, along with upgraded service on its Boeing 777 widebody aircraft out of Chicago.
It’s part of a broader regional expansion for United, which is also adding more flights to destinations including Liberia, Costa Rica and Belize City, Belize this winter.
Overall, United is increasing its network in Latin America and the Caribbean this winter by 30 percent, the company said this week.
