The new “Va y Ven” red circuit route will come into operation starting November 4

Mérida, Yucatán, October 31, 2023.- In Yucatán, the transformation of mobility continues to be promoted at the level of what the population deserves, with the presentation by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal of the new Red Circuit route, the first in the southeast of the city of Mérida to join the “Va y ven” system, which will operate starting November 4 with 22 new units that will offer faster transfers and frequencies, greater connectivity, and savings with the social rate for students, older adults and people with disabilities.

From the Metropolitan Technological University (UTM), accompanied by the rector, María Isabel Rodríguez Heredia, the Governor explained that from November 4 to 12 the service will be completely free, and as with the other routes, they have social rates throughout the year. year, even on vacations for students, and seniors and at no cost for people with disabilities, in addition to free and discounted transfers, thus achieving a connected and efficient public transportation network.

Before students, teachers, parents, and transport businessmen, Vila Dosal reported that so that all students can obtain their social fare credential for transfer discounts, which translates into a saving of 500 pesos per month, a Temporary credentialing at UTM facilities.
