This is how the Great Park of “La Plancha” in Mérida looks like
MÉRIDA, YUCATAN.- On Wednesday, November 15th, Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal made a supervision visit to the Great Park of “ La Plancha ”, which will be inaugurated this Sunday, November 19 , for which the attendance of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is expected.

It will be this Sunday when AMLO and the Governor will deliver this work, which represents an investment of more than 1.3 billion pesos.

In its more than 22 hectares of surface, “La Plancha” will have a wide range of attractions and areas for healthy coexistence and recreation.
The project is divided into 4 sections, with green areas, covered walkways, cycle paths, amphitheater for 10 thousand people, boardwalk, Pet area (Pet Park), outdoor gym and sports areas.
Likewise, a cycle path, relocated housing areas, Museum of Light, Railway Museum, 8 children’s play areas, a skating rink and an IE-Tram station, which will take passengers arriving on the Maya Train to Teya and going to the center of the city.
The first section houses the outdoor gym, the carriage concessions and the roundhouse.
In the second you will find children’s games, an interactive fountain and dining rooms.
In the third, there will be the access, the reflecting pool, a skatepark, a pet park and a gastronomic market.
In the fourth section, the amphitheater, children’s games and a large lake will be located.
