Mérida, Yucatán, November 15, 2023.- Tere Cazola, a Yucatecan leader in culinary arts, and the food and home delivery intermediation platform, Uber Eats, announced a collaboration agreement in Mérida. This alliance, which includes the 44 branches in the city, promises to bring Tere Cazola’s delicious products to more and more people through Uber Eats technology, to offer an unparalleled culinary experience to both residents and visitors of The White City.
“For me, baking is a way of transmitting love and tradition. Partnering with the Uber Eats app to bring our products, from cakes, sandwiches, and bread, among others, to an increasing number of people, has been a great opportunity to share the richness of pastries and the sweet Yucatecan flavor through technology,” explained Tere Cazola, Founder and Director.
With more than three decades of experience in the gastronomic field, Tere Cazola has been a pillar in Mérida’s culinary scene, gaining recognition for her commitment to quality ingredients and authentic flavors. Since its founding, the business has established itself as one of the favorites in the region.
Uber Eats, with more than 5 years of operations in Yucatán, allows users to access their favorite food just one click away. Since its arrival, the technological platform has diversified the offer of prepared food and items that are intermediated for purchase. To date, more than 1,500 restaurants and specialized businesses, such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, Chedraui, and Farmacias Benavides, are available through the app.
“We are excited about this alliance with Tere Cazola, a culinary icon of Yucatán for the world. This collaboration reflects the commitment to providing our users with a diverse and high-quality dining experience; “We will continue to innovate and present a greater offer of prepared foods for users registered in the app in Yucatán,” added Daniel Colunga, general manager of Uber Eats in Mexico.
It should be noted that Tere Cazola products have already extended their offer to the Mexico City market, in a previous collaboration also with Uber Eats. This alliance has allowed the capital’s diners to enjoy the exquisite gastronomic offering of Tere Cazola from the comfort of their homes. The extra-cheese brioche cake is the most requested product, which reflects that users of the app in CDMX appreciate and enjoy the sweet taste of Tere Cazola.
