On Friday, December 1, Sebastián Marroquín, son of the famous late drug trafficker Pablo Escobar, will give a conference in the city of Mérida.

With the topic ‘Pablo Escobar, my father, a story not to repeat’, Sebastián Marroquín also known as Juan Pablo Escobar, will seek to raise awareness among young people to keep them away from bad habits.

The son of the Colombian drug trafficker has held conferences in Mexico because society thinks that due to his father’s history, he would continue in those steps; However, he is now an architect and internationally recognized as an industrial designer, writer, pacifist and Colombian lecturer.

This is the second time in the last semester that Sebastián Marroquín will be part of a conference with young people from Yucatán.

It was in September when he arrived at the Metropolitan Technological University (UTM) to give a talk to the students of Mérida.

Now, this Friday, December 1, he will be at the Poliforum Zamná in Mérida at 10:00 in the morning, where he will give the talk ‘Pablo Escobar, my father, a story not to repeat’ alongside the Televisa TV host and entertainer Facundo.
