Julio César Álvarez Montelongo, better known as Julión Álvarez, is a Mexican singer and recording artist. Álvarez has been nominated for a Grammy Award and two Latin Grammy Awards.

Julión Álvarez dedicated a small serenade to Morena presidential candidate Claudia Sheinbaum, at a political event in San Luis Potosí, last Friday, November 3rd.

He sang the song “Terrenal” among the screams and shouts of the Morena sympathizers, and Sheinbaum, who now holds the position of “Coordinator of Defense of the Fourth Transformation” looked very happy and thrilled to share the stage with Alvarez.

In the end, the regional Mexican singer sat down with the members of Morena on stage to continue with the formal ceremony.

Sheinbaum shared a video in which she asked his thousands of followers to listen to Julión’s music because “it is one of the best musicians in the country.”
