The “En Bici” program, promoted by the Mérida City Council, has captured the attention of five cities in the interior of the country, which seek to replicate this successful model that promotes the use of the bicycle as a sustainable and healthy means of transportation.

Ignacio Gutiérrez Solís, director of the Interior of the municipality of Mérida , highlighted that the positive impact of the “En Bici” program in Mérida has aroused the interest of other localities that seek to promote the use of bicycles as an environmentally friendly urban mobility alternative. atmosphere.

“We are excited to see how Mérida’s ‘En Bici’ Program becomes a benchmark for other cities,” he said.

Municipalities, he added, in the interior of the country have expressed their interest in adopting and adapting this program, recognizing its benefits for mobility, health and the environment, including cities such as Culiacán, San Luis Potosí and Campeche.
