Mérida becomes a meeting point for young tennis talents from around the world

Once again, the state becomes a meeting point for youth tennis talent from around the world, with the holding of the 2023 Yucatán World Tennis Cup, which was inaugurated by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal and this year brings together 210 players from more than 40 countries, positioning the state as a promoter of sport.

Accompanied by the director of the Cup, Jorge Enrique Haro Giffenig, and the president of the Yucatán Country Club, Arturo Millet Molina, the Governor led the start of this competition, which is one of the most important in the country, from the “Lorenzo Molina” field. Mérida will host young tennis players from Germany, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Benin, Bermuda, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Korea, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, United States, France Estonia, El Salvador, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Guatemala, Israel, Japan, Morocco, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Dominican Republic, Russia, Romania, Sweden, Thailand and Turkey.
