A hunter in Mérida was injured when he shot a deer to kill it, the shotgun pellets ricocheted off the shooter himself.
It was this Sunday, November 26, when the hunter was injured while using his rifle to capture a deer. The hunter, approximately 45 years old, went deer hunting.
The man was walking through the undergrowth when he fired his rifle to hit the deer he had spotted. Some of the pellets that came out of the rifle hit a rock but ended up bouncing off and hitting the unfortunate hunter.
Due to this, the man was injured in the left arm. As best he could, the injured man left the mountain, took his motorcycle, and went home to ask for help.
When his family saw him arrive injured, they immediately called the emergency number 911, and paramedics arrived. The rescuers provided first aid and took him to a hospital for proper care.
