The Yucatecan businessman stated that this event is the result of something that is very characteristic of the state, which is teamwork, since they joined forces to make this first edition a meeting to remember.
In his speech, the Mayor of Mérida, Alejandro Ruz Castro, thanked and welcomed the participants of this first summit held within the framework of the 106th anniversary of the Canaco Servytur, highlighting that Mérida is home to major events. international that places it as a reference in the matter.
He added that Mérida is a city that sets the standard with innovative and cutting-edge public policies, which allow citizens to access more and better services.
“We are committed to the digitalization and improvement of various processes that benefit citizens, as well as online payment systems for our procedures. There are already more than 55 thousand people served through this modality, in addition there are 68 highly digitalized municipal buildings, 208 public spaces with internet, a geoportal and constant training with digital tools for our entrepreneurs,” he said.
Finally, he recalled that after talks with the business organization, it was possible to agree on dates for holding the Summit within the framework of the White Night, so he invited everyone to enjoy this Friday the 24th of the more than 300 activities which is included in the 16th edition of this event, which is already a cultural and artistic reference at a national and international level.
This event brings together more than 250 business chambers from all over the country, with the assistance of representatives of the tertiary sector from all over the country to address the latest trends in digitalization that move Mexico, through keynote conferences, panels and work sessions , in which key issues for the sector will be addressed, with the participation of important companies.
This meeting aims to strengthen the commerce, services and tourism sectors of the country, bringing together the partners of the confederation chambers of commerce, services and tourism of the Mexican Republic, in order to exchange economic growth and development strategies, establish relations collaboration and generate business opportunities among Concanaco members.
In this framework, the Governor witnessed the delivery of economic support to Canaco Servytur Acapulco, for the reconstruction of the Business Chamber due to the effects of Hurricane Otis; as well as the recognition of Guadalupe Concepción Quintal Catzín, for obtaining the First Aztec Gold in Karate at the 2023 Pan American Games.
Moments before, Vila Dosal, together with Tejada Shaar, cut the inaugural ribbon of the B2B Expo of the First Business Summit of Leaders in Commerce, Services and Tourism, and then toured the stands.
