A four-year-old minor, who was abused by his mother, died in the hospital after being found unconscious in his home in Ciudad Caucel, Mérida

A terrible event occurred on Wednesday, November 22, in Ciudad Caucel, Mérida, where a child just four years old, was allegedly beaten and mistreated by his own mother and ended up losing his life.

According to information collected, last Monday, the father of little Christopher DM found him unconscious when he arrived at his home in Ciudad Caucel, Paraíso 4 stage, so he called the emergency numbers to be treated, so He was transferred to the Caucel Medical Center where he received emergency treatment.

Paramedics from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) arrived at the scene and performed Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The four-year-old boy reacted again but had to be transferred to the Agustín O’Horán General Hospital.

However, after three days of being observed in the hospital, the minor could not stand it and lost his life around 2:00 p.m.

It was announced that the minor a few days ago lived with his mother in Cancún, Quintana Roo, who had always mistreated him, but custody was taken away from him, passing the responsibility to the father, who brought him to live in the Yucatecan capital.

It is not officially known if anyone was arrested, but there are versions that indicate that the father was arrested along with his romantic partner for being the main suspects in the death of the infant and others who claim that the father went to file a complaint. against his ex-partner while the PEI and FGE authorities were carrying out investigations in the place where little Christopher lived in his last days.

Until now, the cause of death of the infant is unknown, and the body remains in the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) of the FGE for the legal autopsy.
