The events were recorded in four towns in the municipality of Bacalar where the police allegedly found the bodies of 2 of the victims.

A group of heavily armed men allegedly kidnapped at least 11 people during the month of November in the towns of Otilio MontañoZamora, Nuevo Canaán, and Miguel Alemán, in the municipality of Bacalar.

Relatives of Nehemías Hernández Torres, 31 years old, residing in the town of Miguel Alemán, and Audomaro Jesús Lastra González, 63 years old, from the Nuevo Canaán community, went to the state authorities on November 8 to report their disappearance. That same day the authorities issued the search form.

According to SIPSE.com, 11 alleged ‘kidnappings’ have been reported to the emergency number 911, all in the municipality of Bacalar in a one-week period, where informants provided similar characteristics of those responsible.

The first report indicates that hooded and heavily armed individuals kidnapped a man in the community of Otilio Montaño.

Subsequently, they fled aboard three Lobo-type trucks towards the town of Miguel Alemán.

In another report, it is stated that unknown individuals, who were traveling aboard three trucks, abducted four people, including a woman identified as Isabel Olán, 32 years old, in the town of Zamora.

Later, the same criminals allegedly kidnapped two ranch owners from the Nuevo Canaán community. Supposedly, they were taken to the El Triunfo and El Potrillo ranches, located between the communities of Miguel Alemán and Nuevo Canaán.

Meanwhile, in the city of Bacalar, citizens reported that there were four people kidnapped in different parts of town; and one of them appeared on Thursday, November 9th allegedly executed.

It should be noted that so far the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) has not made any comments on the alleged multiple kidnappings in Bacalar. The authorities have only limited themselves to issuing search cards.

Other report states that on November 7, unknown individuals abducted Lázaro Pedro Martínez Lechuga, 45, along with three other people, in the city of Bacalar. And now, there is a report that Martínez Lechuga was executed.

On November 9, a woman reported to the 911 emergency number that they sent her a photo of a person lying on a street in the Miguel Alemán community who looked very similar to a family member, so she requested support from the local authorities to identify the body.
