On the night of Tuesday, October 31, at 10, the agency closed the ports of Celestún, Sisal, Chuburná, Yucalpetén, Progreso, Telchac, Dzilam de Bravo, San Felipe, Río Lagartos, Las Coloradas, and El Cuyo to minor navigation, due to the then imminent arrival of cold front number 8, a measure that paralyzed fishing.
