On Saturday, November 18, starting at 7:00 p.m., the “Carnival Night” will take place in Merida, which includes a parade of troupes and entertainment groups with the participation of 50 artists who will bring joy to the State Capital

The groups will leave from the San Juan neighborhood to the Barrios Mágico (Magical Neighborhoods) of La Ermita and San Sebastián, where Yucatecans will enjoy music, dance, and gastronomy.

Likewise, there will be three musical stages, as well as the Carnival Market, Carnival of Flavors, and Karaoke Party.

All events are free admission.

It must be remembered that the Mérida City Council holds this event outside the usual Carnival dates to encourage citizen participation in this traditional festival. This 2023 Carnival took place from February 17 to 21 at the Yucatán Fair in Xmatkuil.
