AIFA increases airport tax: it will be more expensive to fly from that air terminal

Starting next week, AMLO’s controversial Felipe Ángeles International Airport (aka AIFA) will increase the Airport Use Fee (TUA), so traveling from that air terminal in the State of Mexico will increase its cost.

AMLO said that AIFA’s rate will remain “one of the lowest in the country.”

With the change, the Airport Use Fee for domestic flights will be 266.62 Mexican pesos, while for international flights it will be 26.62 dollars, which will modify travel costs and travelers will surely get a good scare.

On the morning of Thursday, November 2, Day of the Dead, some flights at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport were affected not only by the news that the TUA will increase starting next week but also by a fog bank in that air terminal.

Aeroméxico reported on social networks that, due to the presence of fog at AIFA, departure and arrival flights were affected.
