The National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (Canirac) Yucatán “will be represented” in the next edition of the edition of the “Noche Blanca” by 47 restaurants, highlighted the president of the organization, Claudia González Góngora.

In this way, simultaneously, the food businesses affiliated with the Chamber will be in three busy points during the weekend, waiting for it to be reflected in a large number of diners: the night itself, culture, the Fair Yucatán Xmatkuil (with 35 affiliated brands in two warehouses) and the Gastronomic Market of the recently inaugurated Gran Parque La Plancha, with six businesses.

During this edition of the Noche Blanca, people will be able to enjoy 80 different options, as other venues such as cafes, food trucks and groups such as the Amix Collective will also be part of the evening. Likewise, the fifth edition of the Panucho Fair will take place in La Ermita de Santa Isabel, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

On the other hand, it was announced that the nearly 400 agents of the Municipal Police will be part of the surveillance operation. Commissioner Mario Arturo Romero Escalante recalled that, in the previous edition of the White Night, in May, there was an influx of 50 thousand people, so they expect a similar mobilization in the Historic Center this year.

He added that they will be in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security (SSP). “We have that collaboration, especially regarding street closures,” he noted.

Vehicular traffic will be restricted on 60th Street from 61st to 47th, although the intersections will be open.

Likewise, there will be a night bike route on the Poniente section of Paseo de Montejo from 6:00 p.m., so those interested in exploring the Center were invited to do so as an alternative to the car. “It is a good opportunity to take advantage of public transportation options and others such as the En Bici program,” said the Secretary of the Commune, Ignacio Gutiérrez Solís.

For those who need to go by vehicle, it was indicated that there will be 30 parking spaces open until 2:00 and 3:00 a.m.

Other support will be from Civil Protection, with about 30 officers, in addition to paramedics during the cultural evening, scheduled from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
