    • Progreso Mayor Julian Zacarías delivers construction material in Flamboyanes

    On Thursday, November 9th, the mayor of Progreso, Julián Zacarás, together with the Deputy of the IX District, Eng. Erik Rihani González, and other municipal authorities in charge of this program, delivered construction material free of charge, which was donated by the company “Fortaleza”, and transported, also by donation, by the “Grupo Logra” to the Flamboyanes district of Progreso, where hundreds of families were already waiting to receive the cement.

    During the delivery, Zacarías Curi thanked the inhabitants for the trust and order to be able to access this benefit, which aims to support them in the improvement of their homes.

    Mrs. Ana Ileana Ventura received the counselor in her home to witness the construction of her apartment thanks to the donation and did not hesitate to recognize that this work is very timely, not only for her and her family but also for all of her friends and neighbors in Flamboyanes, which is why he asked the municipality to continue with this attention towards his community.

    “We have seen how little by little more residents receive support for their apartments, that many already have electricity in their streets and even drinking water service. There is a lot of support for the families here, we ask the Municipal government to please continue like this,” said Doña Ana.

    Finally, it is worth mentioning that, currently, another of the actions that the Progreso City Council is carrying out in coordination with the State Government is the rehabilitation of the local soccer field, “Ing. Manuel Rodríguez Peón”; a space that will soon be in optimal conditions for girls, boys, and young people to continue their sports training.

    “In this sense, garrisons and new streets will also continue to be built in Flamboyanes, for the benefit of all the people in the municipality of Progreso,” Julián Zacarías stated.
