Students from the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana (UTM) will be able to work at the Tere Cazola corporate office, as part of the efforts made by the Government of Mauricio Vila Dosal to promote the professionalization of young people through the Dual Education model.
Mérida, Yucatán, October 23, 2023.- This comes after the signing of a collaboration agreement between this university, represented by the rector, María Isabel Rodríguez Heredia, and the founder of the corporation, Tere Cazola Bravo, through which students will spend four working days in the organization and one in the school, however, the first four days they will also take classes in the afternoon.
This training covers the fourth, fifth and sixth semesters of the Higher Technical University level. It is currently being implemented in the TSU in Maintenance Industrial Area and in Productive Processes Manufacturing Area.
In this way, the young people, besides developing technical skills, learn about time management, projects, scope and measurement of results, as well as work skills of teamwork, leadership, communication and proactivity.
In this sense, UTM’s President emphasized that the objective of this agreement is for students to obtain practical learning in a real work environment in a company, without neglecting the theoretical and practical training at the university.
For his part, Cazola Bravo expressed his gratitude for this linkage and pledged to continue supporting more young people who wish to learn from work experience in the company. He urged the participating students to remain motivated and to take advantage of their stay in each area in which they practice.
The event was also attended by the directors of UTM’s Industrial Division, Carlos Enrique Espinosa Atoche, and the Director of Relationships, Mario Alberto López Irigoyen; while on behalf of the company, Martín Díaz Martínez, comptroller and legal representative, signed the agreement on behalf of Tere Cazola. In addition to the students Diego Briceño Sánchez and Leonardo Pacheco Vadillo of the fourth quarter of the career of Higher University Technician in Industrial Maintenance, who are in the Dual Training modality in the company.
