The passenger of a motorcycle cab saw his life flash before his eyes when his trip was altered by the impact of a trailer, as he and the driver of the unit were traveling on the Merida-Progreso federal highway.
Luckily he lived to tell the tale, as he only came away with a few scratches and a good scare.
According to the reports, both vehicles were traveling on the highway towards Merida, when at kilometer 11, more or less at the entrance to the Las Americas subdivision, the collision occurred.
The driver did not measure his distance, miscalculated and gave a slight blow to the motorcycle cab, which was enough to cause the light unit to overturn, as the driver lost control.
In the end, the passenger ended up with minor injuries, but had to wait for the insurance companies and the Federal Police to reach a settlement and explain why he was traveling on the main road.
