Three arrested in Tizimín for attempted store robbery

TIZIMÍN – José F. C. C. C., 29 years old, Jesús A. A. C., 30 years old, and Alonzo G. Y. M., 27 years old, were arrested and sent to the cells of the Morelos barracks in Tizimín for the attempted robbery of a local store late Saturday night.

At 1:30 a.m. Elizabeth C. C., 42 years old, reported that she was at her home located on 46th and 69th street in the Lazaro Cardenas neighborhood of this city when she suddenly heard the voices of two people. They were at the gate of his house, which is used as a grocery store.

He heard them say, “It’s easy to open, let’s hit it.” At that moment she turned on the light and the subjects fled. The victim alerted the authorities, who arrived at the site.

The officers, after listening to her version and with the characteristics provided by the complainant, proceeded to verify the area. They located three men running on 46-A and 65th Street in the same neighborhood.

When they caught up with them and questioned them, they tried to assault the officers. They were detained and taken to the Morelos barracks, where they were handed over on the charges mentioned above on the complaint of the owner of the store they were planning to rob.
