This is Clase Azul Tequila Día de Muertos Limited Edition Aromas

Aromas, an edition that will consist of 3,500 decanters, pays tribute to the unforgettable aromas that characterize the Day of the Dead, particularly the scent of cempasúchil flowers; a warm and herbal fragrance that has inspired the traditional beliefs of this celebration. This edition will be available at Clase Azul Boutique La Terraza and Clase Azul Boutique Aeropuerto Los Cabos starting October 20.

For this limited edition, Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco created an aromatic aged tequila matured 25 months in American whiskey barrels and finished in Armagnac barrels. The tequila that results from this unique process boasts aromatic notes of peach, pear, prune, caramelized nut, toasted wood, and clove; as well as flavor notes of peach, nut, clove, and cocoa, with a long, unctuous finish of cocoa and cinnamon.

The decanter represents the marigold flower and has a beautiful orange glaze that darkens as it approaches the base. On the back of the piece, a dreamlike illustration by Mexican artist Jimena Estíbaliz depicts a harvest of cempasúchil flowers of almost miraculous proportions; masked women and men bend down to pick the blossoms from the ground and eagerly extend their arms to receive them as they fall from the sky one by one.

They are accompanied by two dark-haired dogs, xoloitzcuintles, faithful companions of the souls on their way to the afterlife.  As a final detail, the decanter is decorated with a 24-karat gold-plated ornament with a fine patina finish, completely handmade by Mexican artisans from the Milagros de Latón workshop over the course of two weeks. As an additional detail to visitors of Clase Azul La Terraza Los Cabos, the Creative Chef of Clase Azul Mexico, Ivan Arias, has created a five-course pairing menu to enjoy this tequila. Available from October 20th while supplies last, this menu includes two ounces of this limited edition tequila and will cost 4,125 MXN per person.

Clase Azul Tequila Día de Muertos Edición Limitada Aromas is available in one liter, 40% ABV (80 proof) decanters for MXN 24,500.
