The State Government informs that it is carrying out collaborative efforts and actions with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) with the objective of supporting the Yucatecans who are stranded in Israel, after the recent events that are happening in that country.

It is important to remember that the SRE is the federal agency in charge of coordinating the actions and possible transfer to national territory of the Mexicans stranded in that Middle Eastern nation and the Coordination of International Affairs (CAI) of the State Government is in communication with the 32 Yucatecans who are in Israeli territory in order to provide them with the official information issued by the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In this sense, the CAI offers support, accompaniment and advice to the 32 Yucatecans so that they can comply with all the requirements requested by the SRE, in this type of extraordinary situations, and to be transferred to Mexican territory from Israel.

In such a way that the 32 Yucatecans have received the support of the Federation, as well as the accompaniment of the state authorities to contact the Mexican Embassy in Israel, fill out the forms and have been provided with the corresponding emergency numbers in order to expedite, as much as possible, the process to return to their homes safely.

The State Government is in frequent contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is fully prepared to continue cooperating with the efforts of the SRE, the agency responsible for safeguarding the welfare of Mexicans who are outside the Republic.
