Employees of Volaris Airlines celebrated the Day of the Dead Halloween style, dressed as terrifying characters such as the Nun of Death, and La Catrina, among other characters, even Spiderman, who captivated and amazed their customers.
“I find it very fun and traditional because the Day of the Dead is very special in Mexico, in some more and in others less, but it is very nice to remember them all and give them their ofrendas, who even took a picture with one of the characters,” said Sergio Godinez Hernandez.
Regarding the arrival and departure of flights this Tuesday at Merida’s international airport, at least six of the morning flights arrived slightly ahead of schedule, between six and seventeen minutes, including three from Mexico City, two from Monterrey, and another from Guadalajara.
The first to arrive was 4288 from Monterrey, at 12:28 a.m. instead of 12:45 a.m., from Viva Aerobus, followed by 1014 from Volaris, from Mexico, at 7:39 a.m., 10 minutes ahead of schedule, then 4280 from Viva Aerobus from Monterrey at 7:45 a.m., also ten minutes ahead of schedule, a total of 15 flights scheduled for today, Tuesday morning.
Another 14 operations were scheduled for the afternoon shift, ten from Mexico City and the rest from Miami, Guadalajara (2), and Houston, between 14:00 and 23:54 hours.
Concerning outbound flights, five of the 16 flights operating between 06:05 and 13:50 hours have taken off, three to the metropolis, one to Monterrey, and another to Houston, in the established schedules, of the remaining eleven five correspond to the Merida-Mexico route, the others too (2) to Guadalajara, one from Viva Aerobus and another from Volaris, the others to Oaxaca, Monterrey, Silao, and Tuxtla Gutierrez.
Twelve afternoon departures are scheduled, nine to Mexico City and the others to Miami, Monterrey, and Guadalajara.
